Introducing our Mobile Barcoding System
Our Mobile Barcoding System can greatly increase efficiency in a construction warehouse by cutting down on costly errors and keeping track of assets.
Tag your inventory.
BLDON’s Mobile Barcoding system allows you to tag all your inventory items & transactions as you can now generate and print barcodes directly with a unique serial identification number.
You can print barcodes for requisitions, shop requests, cycle counts, internal transfers, sign-outs, bring-backs, etc. You can also automatically generate barcodes for requisition documents (e.g., RQ-001991) for seamless tracking and usage and sync them to your inventory database.
You can easily handle bulk transactions (more than 50+ items per batch). In fact, the system supports partial shipments, over-receipts, and under-receipts during scans.
Track your inventory in real time.
You can scan barcodes of parts listed in requisitions (RQ) documents with handheld scanners or iPads in real-time and make quantity updates as items are checked.
Our Barcoding will allow you to allot unique serial numbers to the inventory to avoid overpulling, incorrect items, or duplicate scans on the site.
You can use your scanning device to label requisitions & job numbers on inventory. This ensures that each part is properly identified and associated with the specific job or project it is intended for.
Your team can now create sign-out documents on their iPads to update quantities in real time during sign-outs.
You can easily scan your inventory along with the project number and keep a watch on where it is located at any point in time. This will help your on-site team to easily track and return the inventory during bring-backs.
Automate the cycle counting process.
You can automate the cycle counting process in your warehouse using barcodes and integrate the workflow with tablets. During the counting process, you can select specific parts and storage bays, with all data being updated in the database for future reference.
BLDON supports barcode labels on bins, pallets, and beams, making it easy to scan and track inventory. Additionally, you can assign physical count numbers to inventory during daily batch updates. These numbers can be coded based on various factors such as location, project, or other relevant criteria. For example, a physical count number might be labeled as PC-101824.
Keep a track on your purchases
You can generate barcoded P.O. documents with unique serial numbers so that when the vendor can attach those barcodes to the parts they manufacture or supply.
You can then scan parts during receipt to update inventory. You can also check for any defects on the purchases and get the issue addressed instantly.
Using a Mobile Barcoding System you can avoid partial, over, and under-receipt scenarios in real-time and also prevent duplicate scans for UID-tagged items.

You can easily track construction materials and equipment in real time, reducing shortages and overstocking. By minimizing manual data entry errors through Mobile Barcoding System, you can obtain accurate information on the location and usage of equipment and materials.
The mobile barcoding system can work with various types of barcodes, including:
- 1D barcodes (e.g., UPC, Code 39, Code 128)
- 2D barcodes (e.g., QR codes, Data Matrix)
- RFID tags (for automated tracking of high-value items)
These barcodes can be printed on labels, attached to equipment, or embedded in materials to track and manage inventory efficiently.
Most mobile barcoding systems are designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, requiring minimal training. Onboarding typically involves learning how to scan items, update information, and access reports through a mobile app or software interface. Basic training sessions are often provided, and support is available for troubleshooting or advanced features.
Yes, most mobile barcoding systems can integrate with existing construction management or ERP software, such as Procore, Buildertrend, or Sage. Integration allows for seamless data transfer between systems, making it easier to manage inventory, track costs, and monitor project progress across different platforms.
